Steven Raaijmakers new general manager Talent&Pro

Utrecht, 1 September 2021

Steven Raaijmakers took over as managing director of financial services provider Talent&Pro on 1 September. Heading the ‘development company of financial services professionals’ he replaces top executive Edwin van den Elst, who will focus on his role as CEO of parent company Redmore.

CHANGES IN THE TALENT&PRO BOARD

Steven Raaijmakers has over twenty-seven years’ experience in the financial services industry, seven years of which have been with Talent&Pro. Here he was already responsible for the insurance business as a board member. The board will continue with members Juliëtte Piree (financial director), Ronald Hensen (commercial director) and Eric van Diest (operations director).

BUILDING ON STRONG FOUNDATIONS

Talent&Pro is active in the financial services sector with over a thousand consultants. As managing director, Raaijmakers wants to build on the solid foundations that the secondment specialist has built in recent years.

‘Together with our clients and employees, we have made great strides. This has resulted in a loyal client base of more than 100 clients and preferred supplier relationships with all major financial institutions. We are successful because we focus on the development of our consultants. Every year, new clients join us and the diversity of careers we offer our professionals grows. With our data and IT label House of Beta, we are also active outside the financial services sector. In addition, our Performance Centre has grown in recent years into a strong business unit, where we take complete projects and processes off clients’ hands.’

CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

As Raaijmakers explains, Talent&Pro’s services are therefore in high demand. This offers opportunities, but also challenges: ‘If we want to continue to meet this demand, we will have to invest even more in the recruitment and development of talent. In addition, the cooperation with our Redmore sisters Triple A – Risk Finance, Profource and ITDS offers ample opportunities to pool our expertise. So that in the future, we will be able to offer our clients within the financial services industry ever more intelligent solutions when it comes to secondment, consulting and projects. I am looking forward to it!’

EDWIN VAN DEN ELST TO CONTINUE AT REDMORE

As from 1 September Edwin van den Elst will fully focus on his work as CEO of Redmore and will continue to work in that capacity with his successor at Talent&Pro: ‘I leave the company in the good hands of Steven Raaijmakers. I am sure that as a T&P man at heart he will lead the company into a bright future. I wish him much happiness and success in this new role!’
